His love for hockey and his commitment to promoting sports in remote areas have driven his efforts, as he believes deeply in the transformative power of sports to uplift communities.

At Ashoka University, Chamba gained the tools to drive social impact through the Young India and Mother Teresa Fellowships, which helped shape his vision for using sports as a vehicle for community development.

He is a certified "Learn to Play" instructor through the International Ice Hockey Federation and currently coaches India’s U19 national ice hockey team. As a member of the Indian men’s national team and founder of the Adventure Sports Foundation of Ladakh, Chamba not only continues to train young players across the region but also leads ambitious initiatives—like organizing the world’s highest frozen lake marathon, which earned a Guinness World Record.
