Rezang La Full Moon Marathon is a deeply symbolic and emotional tribute to the 120 war martyrs of the 1962 Rezang La battle, led by the legendary Major Shaitan Singh. This unique night marathon held under the full moon at the Rezang La War Memorial is limited to 120 Indian runners.

The Full Moon Desert Marathon is an unforgettable experience, running through the amazing landscape on the bank pangong lake where movies like 3 idiots were made, most importantly honoring our brave soldiers. There is also a Full Moon Desert Full Marathon and a half marathon.
In the first edition of the run, we had runners participating from different parts of the country and the world where local Ladakhi comprised 70%. This year we intend to make it more prestigious by having only 120 runners as equal to our brave martyrs where they will be running with customised jerseys and BIB printed with the name of our martyrs. This marks this run as “a historic one in India while uniting the nation”. We intend to make every Indian aware of their contribution while making each of us in India proud of our martyrs.
