LADAKH ICE MARATHON

Overview : 

The Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon team is proud to propose the Ladakh Ice Marathon at Tsomoriri, a high-altitude endurance challenge designed exclusively for alumni of the Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon who wish to push their limits further. Scheduled for 26th January 2026, this event aims to combine extreme adventure with winter tourism promotion, offering participants a unique opportunity to experience one of the world’s highest frozen lakes.

Background – GWR Achievement:

The Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon has previously set a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the highest frozen lake marathon in the world, an accomplishment made possible with the support of LAHDC Leh. Building on this legacy, the Tsomoriri marathon continues the mission to establish Ladakh as a global winter sports destination.
